Forum Ligen & Turniere Company of Heroes 2 Permit headaches when you're 8000 miles away

So I'm in Dubai and my brother and I co-own a small house in Palo Alto that we've been renting out for years, and now the kitchen and bathroom are falling apart to the point where we can't ignore it anymore. The tricky part is neither of us lives in California, so we're trying to figure out how permits and inspections work when you can't just drive down to the city office.
